All the routes we did were legal, Just that short climb to the quarry technically is not as I said we had permission from the ranger a few years back. I should of said at the time but it's pretty clear that sort of steep climb is not going to be on a legal row

I'll be honest I was surprised anyone followed

Can I suggest safest thing to do is give people a chance to look at the vids and then remove them.

Before the wife see's them :lol I'd rather do community service than take the wrath of a woman scorned. She loves that truck :augie

Right then, anyone that uses the link should be able to see it, it's nowhere near as good as banshee's vids though :D

Ian, that wheel lift, you da man, man :D:lol:bow

Was very impressed with how well you guys did on bastard lane.
Not for the faint hearted that's for sure.
Nice to see its passable again as it had recently been illegally blocked by some local anti green laners.

I learnt a lot that weekend, about how to drive, the limits of my truck, I need a snorkel :lol (cmon someone put the steam train vid up) and that blocky likes to walk around topless at 7am on foggy mornings :nenau :lol

I feel humbled and lucky to have been there lads :thumb2

We all learnt things during the weekend T-Doug. Think yourself lucky I had shorts on:augie
I have puffing T vid but the sound is a bit messed up:nenau

I watched my onboard footage and couldn't see it! Only figured out when it happened after watching Zac's vid:eek: Certainly never felt it :lol

Balls of steel mate, I was pooping myself :lol, I have learnt though, I won't be quite as scared next time, and I want to go UP next time :naughty

Yep, up the bstard, hopefully I'll have a lokka by then but I have faith our trucks could do it as are :thumb2

I'll join you bud, Fez said a couple of his mates had to winch up it the other week but if need be I'll winch us both up :thumbs

You're a top bloke, I can't thank you enough for helping me out over the weekend mate :bow, which reminds me, I need to get another air filter :lol

That little climb at the quarry was all my doing. Poor Fez did ask,"you're not going up it " ? ah too late................the Pearl needed to stretch her legs is all and I was weak
Bastard lane upwards is defo doable but it will hurt.
A lokka will help but the terrain there, as you've seen, will pull you in all directions, even with spotters.
Be prepared for damage .
I'm in :naughty

I really do not think you will drive up the Horseshoe Lane without a good winch, as for Rob winching you up, that is not as easy as it sounds, as blocks will be involved with all the extra hassle and time, Have to say I would like to do it but would have to fit a winch and a Lokka before I tried, the Mrs is suggesting she might help fund both items for my 70th, next August, so who knows, Rick

Ricks 70th Birthday Bash at B'stard Lane:clap

Probably best off with 2 people per capable truck, each with a good winch to do that lane in that direction then. :nenau

There was some good driving there guys, thumbs up, but certainly some arse clenching moments

Now you know I'm not getting left out don't ya:grouphug

I had lots of help over the weekend, Rick's expert hands have touched my under carriage :D, Rob and Zac were keen as mustard, but a special thanks to Rob, seriously, he was drying my air filter on a makeshift washing line over a mini heater in the back of his truck ffs , and thats after he went wading and pulled me out of the water using his own recovery gear, then supplied me with pas fluid, never another joke about tight scotsmen shall pass my lips :lol
There are no better people to go up that lane with than the guys that went down it on sunday :bow:thumb2
