ah lucas , the inventor of the first ( unintentional ) intermittant light switch for landrovers :augie

for number 1 injector (bosch system) Nissan quoted £334.75 + VAT today!

ffs, try euro car parts, mine was bosch pump, definitely paid about £150, if you cant fine one let me know and i'll see what i can do;):thumb2

the injector will cost approx £50 from scrap; does no one read my posts!

the MAF costs approx £70 new; where are you ordering this stuff from?

Ok gents, might be a silly question but I don't usually let that stop me :naughty If I have a Hitachi MAF, what make of injector do I need?

just checked my reciept. I have a Zexel pump, hitachi MAF so my No1 injector was "Zexel 9443 610 385 NBF Injector", from S&S Diesel Services, £120.12 delivered.

a BOSCH MAf for a 2005 T2 for £70 - Where from, send me a link. Likewise with the injector for £50!

S/H MAF = waste of time and money :doh
I've tried a couple now and they're probably just as bad as yours:augie
On of the few things I've had to admit defeat on and buy new. Scrappy great for most other stuff though, you know's it :D

I have the one I took off; my mechanic advised me that it had failed which in fact works perfectly (do you want to buy it?).

I do not care if a part is scrap or bosch etc. as long as it works! which it does brilliantly on my 97 terrano. There is type of 'informational failure' evident in matters autos I base my actions on my own experiences and avoid generalisations about 'scrapiies'etc. After all I could have bought almost 7 scrap injectors for the price of one new one!

If it were for a different vehicle i would, but for this one, a late 2005 in mint condition one owner low mileage etc. etc. I am happy to go the extra for a genuine new part - and it's already ordered :doh

Thanks for the offer
