if anyone has had this problem what were/are the symptoms - this one is a 2005 with all bosh pump, maf, etc.
give the maf a clean with electrical contact cleaner then dry it with a hair dryer seems to work for some got to be worth ago before spending money on a new one
Plank doesn't have a hairdryer.....he prefers heated rollers and curling tongs :augie

I had to do mine, but i had other problems with it at the same time. Fitted new injector and the engine ran loads better and have had no problems since. Wish I had done the other injectors at the same time but I didnt!
Any T2 will "missfire" when revved at stand still. It's something to do with a different timing/tuning map when the beastie isn't moving:thumbs
There's a sensor on the gear box that detects when the truck is moving and that tells the ECU to get it's act together and make fire:sly
So probably nothing wrong

what were the symptoms when the injector was acting up?
are they repairable or just to complex/cheap to bother?
