Hay all,
I'm probably being a bit dull here, but for the life of me i can't find where the tacho connects to the sender an my rig. It's a jap import, so no manual available that I can read. the tacho is intermittent, so i need to check for dodgy connections, in dash is good, underbody is a mystery!:(

Any ideas?

cheers
Jim

G'Day Extreme,

and now the gratuitous poser shot :thumb2

It's getting late now, so I'm going to hit the hay.

Cheers in advance for help boys (and girls)

Looks like the "R3M" type of truck. Hey Zippy do you have a link to an online manual for one of them?

I'm 90% sure the earlier mechanical TD's were fed from the alternator, the fly-by-wire-ers are derived from the ECU.

Roger that jimt . my rig is an R3m. I'll check alternator wiring tomorrow, the problem predates the new alternator though, but will also check wiring with my multi. might just be a damaged cable run.
thanks again
