Suz's T2, is a Late 2002, and has the dash with the built in outside temp display in the LCD with the Mileage, trip and clock.
I noticed when we got it, up in the top left, by the clock, is what looks like a small clock symbol displayed... I always thought this was just an idiot symbol to tell you at a glance, which one of the digit sets is the clock.
While out in the car with her, yesterday, the car started making an electronic ponging sound, which seemed to come from the dash board. It ponged about 6 or 8 times, then stopped. Not the lights on alarm, which is a series of short peeps, this was a proper "Pong", like when they put the seat belts sign on, on an aeroplane.
Suz said it had done it a few times, and she thought it was to do with the Traffic Announcement on the radio, but later in the journey, a traffic announcement came on, and there was no "Pong".
It did it in the middle of a 25mile journey, just as we went through the Dartford tunnel, but did not do it on the return journey, and it has not done it with me in the car, on any of the other journeys we have done before, even along the same route.
I can't see anything about it, so was wondering if anyone on here has any ideas.
Maybe the little clock symbol, a service warning light, and is the "Ponging" a reminder...
anyone any ideas?
