It’s a shower head :doh
Oh man, who set Jim going :lol
You can test the winch without a solenoid, Look up the wiring online
Keep the gaz bottle if you intend on heading out to mainland Europe.Well its still in bits but they all smell lemony fresh now :lol
It has two "rings" and a longer burner right up the middle (stop sniggering at the back) which doubles as a grille/toaster.
I need to make a new hose for it as this ones about 3000yrs old and it runs off this stuff, this bottle also is 3000yrs old :thumb2

Maybe not the only, but quite common. Is that all they use?
Don’t think you can get Calor gas abroad. The stove should run from pretty much any of the bottled camping gases. Just get the regulator to match the bottles. With your background you’ll sort this out easy.
Ohhh... I thought it was a paraffin/petrol one.... Suz's dad gave me a lovely polished brass single burner paraffin one made by a Swedish company called Svea No.5.
looks like this one. you pump it up like a Tilley lamp

I've got propane, but will get a Camping Gaz bottle and regulator when I head over the water.
Come to think of it, it was propane that I used for heating in Spain.
Or scrap that Butane or Propane available in petrol stations... https://www.repsol.es/es/productos-.../coccion-aparatos-a-gas-exterior/index.cshtml
I got several of those blue bottles, used to use them for plumbing, originally butane but I refilled them with propane, do not use them any more so you are welcome if they suite your needs, Rick
