It works fine, opens fully closes fully and tilts fully, apart from between fully closed and start to tilt is supposed to stop so you have to re-press the button to start to tilt, and visa versa

its getting a pain trying to judge where fully closed is, problem started today, checked the switch and thats ok so not sure what stops the sunroof between slide and tilt as no microswitches that I can see

any ideas?

just checked the wiring diagram, micro swtiches could be in the motor assembly, I got minor water ingress problem same as other people so I'm wondering if the motor has got damp

Yes the switch is in the motor assembly. In the W/S manual it's called the Sunroof Motor and Limit Switch.

When I had my roof out, I managed to get everything out of alignment, so had to start again, and one of the first jobs was getting the motor back into the park position.

If water is suspected which may be rare in your area perhaps a good spray of water dispersant may help, anything to keep it out :thumb2

Well, cross referencing this thread with my original........I gave it up as a bad job!
I checked the pipes were connected, that was about it, it will not move beyond tilt position.
So I closed it down to a position flush with the roof, and applied clear silicone over the whole joint.......:nenau
