So I am booked in to see Rick this Friday aka solarman :thumb2

Whilst Pete only snapped me some teaser pics today I can't wait to get it on. I am gonna clean up my drag link and paint the drag and box for sure, and yes you guessed it... Hammerite. Alignment booked near Ricks gaff after the fitting :thumb2

Was debating what grease to put in the new box? Ideas welcome.

Makes the steering linkage a lot stronger, and allows it to cope with the bigger wheels/tyres being fitted.

That's right Alex, the spacers fit behind the modded pas box so it fits flat onto the chassis.
I have yet to change my tie rods but I am on my second set in just over a year (6 months of that has seen the truck off the road)
Pete did you have them made or can you buy the parts to assemble them?

This is all custom made guys. I'm on the road at mo but will no doubt hear more later in the week lol.

This set up virtually illiminated drag link twist on my truck . Just up sized the rose joints now.

I should be getting another steering box soon as the one Rick was sending me got lost in the post :doh

Yeah I'm in as need this as about to renew it all any way. Just doing steering box idler mod made hug difference and now to eliminate drag link moving so much will be icing on the cake

one question, do the spacers fit one way? eg - spacer one for hole one and spacer 2 for hole 2?

or any spacer for any hole? as the chassis is not straight? :nenau

They are all the same length.just put one between the pas box and the chassis when bolting it in place:thumb2

Just a quick teaser as wrapped so well, incredibly heavy and I have a shot wrist, even tapping on the phone is painful.




Full pictures and fitting on Friday. It's certainly heavy Duty!
Most parts are twice the weight of the standard kit...
