Attaching your gauge to the wastegate line is fine, although that is never quite what the engine see's due to the i/c and other restrictions. I would suggest you always connect to the inlet manifold post-intercooler for an accurate picture.

Remove the inlet adapter (4 x m8 bolts) after you've removed the intercooler and drill and tap a hose barb into it.

Correct. The intercooler will cause some restriction, especially at higher flows.

As a guide mine boosts at WOT;

6psi at 1500rpm
10psi at 2000rpm
14psi at 2200- 2700rpm (controlled via the boost controller)
16psi 2700- 4000rpm and then drops off after this.

A stock truck would boost to about 12psi max til about 3500rpm then drop off to under 10 at peak revs because mainly the compressor is too small on the T25 to flow enough air, and the fuelling cuts back too on a stock ECU.

My modded turbo arrived today and it's still looking at me on the table
Probably wont get to it now till next week
It's T28 but with moded comp and some fancy 360 bearing things and other gizzmos I didn't understand:nenau
Anyway it's all shiney and that and fully deserving of it's place on the table:lol
I'm sure her ladyship will have words in the morning though:lol
