is this the lane in question:nenau
as you can see (if link has worked)that it is shown in red which makes it a no no.http://www.way-finder.co.uk/cgi-bin/gmap.pl?uid=SE0676-6a

Wayfinder is only as good as the user input.

I have personally been to see the definitive map for this area and this is one of the lanes I looked at specifically. Also the correct line at deadmans hill which is the long way around - anything else is off piste.

I am the GLASS area rep for Central North Yorkshire region which this lane is in and I know Mark Hannon who covers the YDNP (the border is a few 100m north of deadmans hill) is also happy that this lane is legal.

i'm gonna fill in the lanes i did in the dales on sunday but i had left the group by this time so i didn't know of this until i read the posts on here.
i know wayfinder is not law but it gives you some idea as to what to expect when you reach a lane.
a red line could mean it is impassable for various reasons.
we have got an area for maps in the sub section so lets pull together and get some up to date info in there.

I want one. Trade my Trol in for one any day.
Then put some of them Wagpap tyres on.
What appened to my size 10 cosmic welly bobs I was meant 2b getting by the way ?

look bigger

They look much bigger in real life Wagpap.
The vid doesnt do them justice mate.
But 42's would be nice tho.

Youve sold the idea, next time if work hasnt beckoned I'll be there :thumb2

Just got to sell the idea to the missus, every time I send her the link for the vid its "is this just more cars driving by?"

Absolutely no idea whats what, I'll tell her :augie if I dare ;)

:lol ive been toying with the idea of doing a custom bodylift so i can get some 39's on, but after looking into it have decided against it as the tyres alone would be 2.4k
no matter how hard i try i just cant justify that sort of spend on tyres :nenau:augie
