Thought you might be interested to know that following the Government's
Freedom of Information Act you can now get access to ALL speed camera
offences registered in the last 12 months.

Did you know that every time your car goes past a speed camera, even 1mph
over the set limit, it is registered and put on a database?

You only get a ticket if you are way over the limit or, (this is the bit
that I didn't know) if you receive over 10 near misses, you will be classed
as a serial offender and get a ticket the next time you go just over the
limit.

This is why you hear of people being done for 34mph in a 30mph limit area,
whilst others doing 39 do not. You can check what has been registered
against your vehicle at the following web address:

http://www.i-database.co.uk/

Just enter your car registration. If there is any data on your vehicle you
can click on the camera window to see a copy of the photograph.

Hope it's useful.

I put in the registration of a car that has been off the road for 6 months, and was getting all arsey, as it was showing it has been done in the last 4 days.... I was already looking up how to report that someone else had my registration, as the picture bit was not working when I first pressed it. luckily I came back to the page, and the picture was working the second time.:nenau

I'm calling 'b*ll*cks' on this one. Entered two reg numbers and got the same 'offence' of doing 73.8mph on the A30. Given that one of the cars I entered was my 2CV, there's no chance!

Ran my number, it showed my car as doing 34.2 in a 30 limit on Oct 16th when I was in Spain!

You bugger! i crapped myself when i seen it was down south! i've never drove down south! thank feck its a joke :D:lol

yea very funny, but I will not be sending it to my mates, Rick
