south Yorkshire /peak district laning weekend 22nd and 23rd August

We have a swim in Coniston on sunday morning, no lanin' planned. but all of the lakes is good and some of the roads are worse than some lanes

There is a good lane that runs by the side of Coniston.
It's a dead end route and you have to turn round at the top but looks a good one.
Hope your son does well with the swim.

That's it I'm all booked up.
I was going to take my new little tents and rough it for a couple of nights so we can use Elton's
Cavern as party tent this time.
But we decided to make it a little extended break and we are going on wednesday

It should be fine, phoned them couple weeks ago and been told not to worry about booking. Plenty of space for a tents.

Elt has had to cancel camping due to personal stuff but will be there on Sunday.

But he has given me full route coverage and the weekend will go ahead.

I will be there in soul on the Saturday. I've just been going over the route to make sure Patrolman's beast will get through OK.
Will send you the updated route once I am happy with it.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel this weekend.
Had a good chat with Steve and he just isn't confident and ready enough to take the helm on this.
The only thing I can suggest is if you still want to come I can meet you at the campsite on Sunday and just do a days laning.
I will pm every one later when I get back from visiting my dad in hospital :thumb2

We've just cancelled our camping at the lakes this weekend due to our poorly doggie, we will still be going for the swim on the Sunday but there n back dame day.
jacob n I are really looking forward to the weekend.

Although I am curious as to the need for a re route:nenau

There is a gun called the Peace Maker
And
Nissan make the Pathfinder

I have a combination of the two, the all new Nissan PathMaker

Some of them lanes in the peaks are tight mate,just ask Rob as it was a squeeze for him in his trol, also a couple have low height clearance.
Don't want you doing any damage to your truck or the lanes if possible :thumb2

will be ok on most of the lanes,a couple with gates and a walled lane with some tight corners and the very last lane,holinsclough has a couple of tight sections but a quick spot with get the beast through no problem:thumb2
