A couple of minor incidents, Patrolman tested the strength of his steel front bumper with a rock and paultrol removed his side step with a rock....
Handy tools to have these rocks:lol

Was the release me and the Mrs needed after the last couple of weeks.
Can't thank banshee enough for leading on Saturday so the weekend could still go ahead:thumb2
Almost forgot I owe you and rob a drink:cool:

Just going through my dash cam footage, quality is fab but will take a while to cut n shut for better viewing

Q: How do you get all the pics in one post?

I use photobucket, have to upload your pics onto that then just copy the IMG link into your post for each picture.
Looking forward to the dash cam footage.
Not looked at what, if anything I got on my rear cam yet.

Keeping your truck now then?

Touch Wood :bow

I seem to be making enough Bio at the moment to warrant keeping it :thumb2

80 miles a day at the moment to and from work until I can move somewhere closer :thumb2

Great to know you've sussed it. I'm sure many members have helped to convince you.
You could have bought a cheap to run car, but end up spending more on it, after all, it's not just the fuel that you have to consider when running a car.
For you, the most important issue is ...
Being available 24/7 ie it starts first time every time.

With the winter not far away, you'll be glad you kept it.
When I commuted that distance on a daily basis, I kept an overnight bag in the car, so if for what ever reason, you could find a cheap B&B
I did this once, when the snow set in, and the motorway was blocked.

In the bag, a razor, change of clothes, a couple bottles of water a couple of Mars bars, a blanket (somewhere in the car), and a hat, gloves and spare shoes.
Maybe a sleeping bag... or a bottle or bucket...:augie
I hope the new job is going well, good luck with any future move.

I'd forgotten about that, but yeh... yeh you do :p

Marlborough Trip already in it's planning stages

Thinking Marlborough, Aldbourne, Lambourn areas on the Saturday and then Salisbury Plains further south on the Sunday, there's a choice of 4 different Travelodge's depending on how I plot the route. When I quickly looked it seems like if we book in advance we can get rooms from £35 :thumb2

Thinking Octoberish, who's in?

Would love to but a 540mile round trip plus laning:eek:
If petrol comes down to £1 per gallon I'm in:nenau

Just having a break on the drive home and had a check of Google Maps... 7 hour journey each way...

Let's face it I'm probably (very probably!) in :D I'm getting used to driving down the M6! :lol

Hi Guys thanks for an AWESOME weekend.
Thank you Elty for organizing it and letting us join in at last minute.
Thank you Banshee for being road captain.
It was the perfect end to our trip.

We're definitely up for Wiltshire. But will take caravan can't fit all my lot in a room. You know what they are like they need to be tethered outside
