Good news is a Son is IMHO way easier than raising a Daughter.
A mate of mines 4 year old Grandson has picked up being mechanical from his father. It's a bit of a joke but he runs in from the garage at home into the lounge with a spark pug in his pocket - he then sniffs the end of the spark plug saying how cool they are!

He has told his Dad he wants a Socket Set for Christamas even specifying a brand!
