Connemara/South Mayo,at least 3 rifles maybe more, plenty of steel targets,1 Terrano, possibly two people, light cooking gear, definitely raingear and maybe a couple of beers. No kids or wives, just a big boys weekend. And some of the best scenery in the West of Ireland.

I got lots of DIY to do at home but I'm sure we'll have some time out somewhere.

Hope you people that are going away have a good time, please don't let it spoil your fun thinking of me putting up 40 boxes of travatine tiles:lol

god that takes me back - my old man started doing that stuff 50 years ago! Everything from slope soaring to an 8-foot wingspan Bleriot copy...he also designed the very first digital proportional radio control equipment in the UK...the hours of my life I've spent on windswept airfields!!!

and as if that wasn't enough he got into microlights and for the last 40-odd years he's been designing and building autogyros, in fact he's still building them and fighting battles with the CAA over build criteria at 78 years of age!

too be honest never designed anything always built from scratch ,using plans, couldnt design jack s*** that i would trust to fly,its amazing how many people have done it,even the free flight stuff,i started doing this for a bit of peice and quiet and never left it ,wether i fly or not i always try to teach the new kids at the club to fly, hoping they get the same enjoyment i do:augie
