...And another quizzical query for you Most Knowledgeable Ones...
Driving along in my Maverick yesterday, I smelled burning oil; first instinct was to b*ll*ck the driver in front for having a crap engine...but when I stopped & checked under the bonnet, I found oil 'mist' creeping down the front of the exhaust manifold from a "widget"..."doohickey"..."gangle-valve"... thingy atop the casting; can't seem to identify it from the '.pdf' manual I snaffled from here a while ago...
Have any of you Wise Ones any idea what the 'device' is, and if it can be fixed/re-sealed, etc? Is this the infamous EGR valve?
