Chris Mitchell, the GLASS Derbyshire Rep has circulated this to GLASS members this morning:
"Derbyshire police have asked me to remind all our members and affiliates
that the Silly Dale UCR in Grindlow, Derbyshire (map ref SK181764) has now
been determined as a Bridleway with no motor vehicle rights. This order has
been confirmed after 2 separate public inquiries, and there is little we can
do to dispute the order further.
Although there are no proper Bridleway signs in place at present, please
don't use this lane in a motor vehicle in future (it is nice for a walk
though - you will seldom, if ever, see a horse being ridden down there!) "
