Side window flapin' about!

Hi guys, just picked up the pesky kids from friends party and one urchin opened the back window! Trouble is it fell out! Oh how we laughed 8O
Now after retrieving chastised brat from the hedge I've gaffa taped it (the window) back in for now.
Is there a proper method for fixing these or should I just ban the kids and trim the gaffa tape!

Is this on the SWB?

If so is it some kind of hinge that has rusted away? replace them some how. Either breakers yard or new but I suspect Nissan will have 2 of your limbs. For security and safety you need to fix it properly. Watch the gaffer tape doesn't fail and let the glass drop out whilst driving as this will cost the other arm and leg.

Hi Makeitfit :smile: My O/S/R window was some play on it, well it drops a bit at the B post :roll: TBH never got around to sorting it out after 2 years but then I 1st noticed it I pushed it into postition & closed the window but the catch did'nt lock so I put a large cable tie around the catch & it's stopped in place, don't know if it'll help as a better temp fix :roll:
