But at the end of the day the original air inlet on the terrano air box is an oval shape so as long as the pipe work in front of that isn't any smaller then there will be no drop in airflow through the filter box.
Yes good point, but if possible I would like to beef up the air intake :thumb2
Only a smidge
Anything is possible...
Look on the forum or try something new
I like the idea of something new :naughty
It will match my decorative bumpers :augie
:lol:lol Looks like one of the old Battersea power station chimneys are going to go missing...
Only concern is, it may be a bit brittle when the weather turns to sub zero... what about a cast iron stove pipe??:lolActually, ive always had a bit of a soft spot for drainpipe snork stylie.
So I think im gonna give that a go.
As Rick will be the main man I'd best clear it with him first :lol :bow:bow:bow

Stainless steel sections would look cool, any suggestions?
either a durable plastic, or metal im easy :thumb2
Why not do it in shiny Aluminium tube, a bit like mine, but you could go for the angles in ally as well... not sure how expensive that would make it though. When I priced mine up, all in, including the air filter, all the extra mountings, and trims, it cost just under £200, but that was using silicon on the angles.
:lolplus with b and q trade card extra cheap so maybe able to acheive that £30
a cheaper solution is to not go into water so deep that you need a snorkel ...... will save you money too :augie ...... usual fee please :lol
Or you can definately get one of these for under a tenner mate
sorry couldnt resist...... my ebay search lol
