Servicing help please!

morning everyone,

so, picked up the terrano last night, and all is good.

but....

i want to give the old girl a service, for which i have already ordered the right diff oils, transfer box oil, gearbox oil and engine oil. (thanks to this forum for the info :thumb2 )

now, on to the filters...... i go on to euro car parts, enter the reg, and it gives me two options for just about everything! :nenau

can anyone shed any light on where i might find the info for which filters are the correct ones please?

Got mine from Milners, I haven't checked to see if they are right yet but they only gave me one option.

What year is it?
The 2.7tdi and 3.0 are different but not sure about the earlier TD.

ive done a bit of a search, and again, the site has come up trumps with a link to the motaquip site, and sizes etc have been cross referenced.

My local motor factors came up with 3 alternatives 2 of which he had in. The centre screw thread is a different diameter so he asked me to buy both so I declined. I bought a oil filter housing from Solarman so took that in and said I wanted the filter to fit that:clap that confused the hell out of him:doh

Might be as well making a note of the correct type and brand and keep it handy:thumb2

Would it not have been easier to just take the two and return the incorrect one for a refund rather than making an additional purchase from Rick?

some places dont give a cash refund just a credit note for future purchases.
