sorry to hear of the aggro.

theyre moving the sensor for obvious reasons and even putting it up higher probably wont help.

The key question is why the same wheel? answer is probably its the easiest target. is it in the most shadow? is it easiest to get to? is it out of your line of sight?

work out which and modify :thumb2

we have a decent security spot light that was only £25 from b&q (suprisingly :D ). It stays on very low during the hours of darkness (negligible electric consumption) irrespective of the sensor . Good enough to give enough light to make the tossers think twice. if the sensor picks up movement it sparks up as a normal pir floodlight.

I suspect the side they keep attacking may be in shadow or darkness?

Maybe 2 of these lights?

yes yes and yes, will be looking at cctv thingies tomorrow, just haven't had the time today

cctv is useful but not the silver bullet. A quick chat with some of our more dodgy members of society would reveal theyre not remotely worried about them.

Things that most burglars and criminal damage merchants dont like is light and noise.Prevent rather than follow up by installing some :thumb2

Theres no reason why you cant instal a covert pir sensor pointing at the problem area (dead cheap) wired to a klaxon, seen that done. Theyll **** themselves when they trigger that :D

yeah they might use stilts. :lol

No need, a handy washing line prop, general bit of wood left laying about , pole from the rack of an aerial fitters van , even seen one pulled off the wall with a lassoo ;)

We didnt feature part of our county on tele as one of the most crime ridden estates around without a bit of ingenuity from the scrotes :naughty

Doesnt mention going to / switching recording equipment ? may be missing that bit but its only any good when you have the tele on.

Doesnt mention resolution either , the old ebay rule of thumb, if its crap dont mention it :naughty

I suspect that may be an entry type camera :thumb2

bastards wherever you live........i have a pump action 12 bore that takes heavy load cartridges, i would lend it you if it wasnt on my licence!

cant really do that incase it wakes kids up and it would go off all night as we are plagued by foxes, stupid ban on fox hunting

Nice name mate, well chosen :thumb2 I bet she's your little star
All my girls are, the boy, well he's a boy :lol

Had a caravan stolen some years back so fitted 4 cameras bought from wickes. They run to a switcher unit which allows you to watch them on the tv. Another unit turns on a vcr ,recordable dvd or hard drive on the computer when anything activates them depending how you have it wired. think it can also be linked to comp as a web cam so you can access from any computer.

can't find the system on wickes site any more but I'm sure some one else does a simular system.

Cameras are smaller than a fag packet, record sound and in colour and glow red when activated so good visual deterant

just redesigning our patio and caravan storage area.

had trespass before mainly due to neighbours gardens
not being secure. pathetic damage not theft, using
tools left out in same neighbours garden.

looking at several low watt bulb lanterns to create
subtle lighting, and coupe of dirty great pirs at first flor
window height on house well out of tamper reach.

looked at these solar jobs but not convinced will create
enough light during winter nights.

I tried solar lights for the same thing and you're right they don't work so well in the winter. You end up with a lot of hours of darkness.
