So here is a Landrover saving the life of a terrano! This is a tidy little truck that needs some tlc!!
Bought from a member on here and will be under going some welding work on the rear inner arches where the seat belt mounts have rotten through. The rear brakes also need a full rebuild as the break linings parted from the metal shoe!!

Nicely Nicely :thumb2 Thats the one I saw on Instagram then :clap

Get it fixed ASAP as you'll need it to tow the Disco when it breaks down :lol

Nice one Bigbunny, is that going to be taking up space in ya workshop? Will have too pop down and see it. Was it the big transporter from Rothwell? If so it'll of been same one that I used to bring the project home.

Yeah it's in the workshop, just cutting the rust out the rear arches and rebuilding the back brakes this next week! I've made a good start [emoji4]
The trailer was a from a customer of mine, so it was a favour for a favour deal [emoji6]

You guessed it... Linings came loose and jammed up!! Think it got rather hot as it melted the rubbers on the wheel cylinders so it's a full rear brake rebuild!!

Are they Bosch shoes bro?

Should be stamped on the carriers, reason I ask is that's the 4th reported case of Bosch shoes ditching their friction material on the forum including mine!!!!

Make that a 5th.......when I took delivery of my T2, 2 odd years ago, within 30 miles, the rear shoes had de laminated. It was of course under warranty, and they were replaced and everything checked, within a day.......but that was the first time it has happened to any car I had previously driven...:nenau

Come on then Bigbunny, stop teasing us and start a project thread with photos :thumbs
