Hi guys been away for a few days and the truck ran fine. Started her up this evening and noticed on tick over it sounds like the throttle is being flicked, it's kind of slight increase in revs and then drops and continues to do this. Other than this the engine is running fine. Seems to ring a bell about the number 1 injector lift sensor.

Cheers

When my number one injector had gone it was just powerless but still ticked over fine! Is the eml on?

No EML light or anything else.

Thought about checking codes today to see if there is anything.

My Zexell pumped motor was doing this recently and found it was bad connection on the CKP sensor plug cut the plug off and joined the wires, good as gold since, but it did produce codes so check that first, Rick

What Rick said and I've also know that to be a dodgy MAF symptom as well on a Zexel pumped one that my mate had

Maf doesn't always bring up eml but can store it as a code so worth checking as mine did exactly that

Just read the codes with matts-terrano and we get 55 which is no fault stored.

Also the fault is hardly there if at all at the moment.

Might have to wait for it to develop then.
