Slam your door too hard and yours will look just like mine!!

I think it need fabrication , just not sure I can be bothered :lol

bit of stainless box section from work bolted into position will be the answer.

Sounds like a plan! Not having any workshop or garage facilities in Spain I might resort to fibreglass matting - if I can find anything still strong enough to bond it to!

Mines broken in the same place too, another job to fiddle with. I'll try and remember to let you know how I get on.

Years ago you could buy Dexion, a bit like big boys Meccano.
Angle section approx 3" x 2" with lots of holes in, saw it, bend it, bolt it, waxoyl it.
Mine have got bubbles on them, and the odd crack.
Despite the waxoyl..:nenau
Problem is this is a high wash area, that picks up the salt and stone chips.

My nearside wasn't that bad, a bit of filler to save it getting full of crud, loads of waxoyl AGAIN !!!!!!:clap

There is a lot of metal there just to hold up a bit of plastic bumper, which is held on with 2 self tapping screws.:nenau

Seems it is designed to rot by it's position.:nenau
