Roof Rack for 2007

I have finally bought a Nissan Patrol! One of my life's goals!
Managed to get a really low mileage Aventura 2007.

I have owned a number of 4x4's and have acrued various roof bars etc over the years. A few years ago I bought a set of Thule Pro Bars for a vehicle which was unforunately wrote off a week later. Kept the bars and they were ready for the Patrol.

Unfortunately as I don't have any roof rails I can only use standard square bars apparently? As it appears the Patrol just has side rails, does anyone know of a Thule kit which will fit the Pro Bars? The Pro Bars have the standard square channel you slide the feet into? If not I'll have to sell them and be in market for a full rack.

wondered about a full size rack when had a y61, atleast can use relatively
easy to source gutter mounts, even more than 2 cross bars if need be to spread load.

sorry couldnt quote specific parts, been sometime since was investigating though
was drawn to a full platform.

Patrol Roof Rack

After main Thule dealers failed me I go into one of their sites again and look how much it will cost me to buy the foot pack. Find out I need a 952 which fits standard gutter rail. I always go onto ebay and look for second hand because people change their cars and there is a good bit of recycling goes on for Thule bits.

Lo and behold there is a 9521 version which no dealer was aware of which is the same as 952 but instead of just fitting standard square bars it has the top fitting to fit wing bars, aero bars or pro bars !

Job done!

I got a rack where I can unbolt the front and rear bars, which is very handy for putting kayaks and ladders on, also the top box can over hang the front allowing more room behind for Jerry cans and such like.
