Sulphur content is exactly the same as from a petrol station as of the beginning of this year. Red diesel is just derv with a red dye added to it.
Used to be able to use fullers earth to remove the dye, I think you have to tell the authorities now if you buy large quantities of fullers earth.

No point cos you cannot remove the chemical signature the dye leaves and thats what HMRC tests for; the red colour is just a bonus if its still present :thumbs
 
its a stuborn dye if you put 5 gal white in drum with tiny bit chery in itll dye it al pink,but if you remove it and sample comes out white there not gonna go to trouble of analizing unless theyve got intel to suggest youve got a filtering system in your garage lol

Its a simple 20 second test that they do by default - you aren't watching enough 'Road Wars' LOL, these days you'd be a complete twerp to risk it with the dye untouched, too easy to spot, so they are always going to check, I mean its not like it has to go to a lab or owt.....I'm sure daved will tell us when he meanders along....
