Hi Folks,
The glass on my passenger side mirror is cracked and needs replacing. The cat is a Mk1 Maverick SWB GLX 2.7TD with electric mirrors. I've found a source for the stick on glass type here:
http://www.toys4cars.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4566_4581_6191&products_id=42030
or what I assume is the cradled replacement type here:
http://www.wingmirrorman.co.uk/ford maverick wing mirror glass.html
Is there any downside to simply sticking the new sheet over the old broken glass?
If I need to take the glass and cradle out do I have to take the whole assembly off the car?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
Dave
