Was on the motorway last night and had this knocking at the front, had a look today and the n/s wheel as broke a stud & the rest of the w/nuts where loose, after I tightened the other 5 nuts back up there is alot of play in the wheel.

As anyone here replaced the hub? if so is it a big job?

Hi Paul I would have ago at readjusting the hub bearing first as that maybe all it needs
Going to have to remove the hub to replace the wheel stub that as snapped off, also the other wheel nuts don't look to good so I think I will have to replace them to. :(

Can't you just replace the stud? The hub aint too bad to remove as I've done mine a couple of years ago. Hardest thing is those flippin circlip things.

Not had the courage to take the wheel of yet, but from the sound that came from the other wheel nut's me thinks I will need to replace them as well
Just had a answer from someone on ebay saying £40 +p&p which isn't as bad as I thought.
