Remember this Xmas when your eating your dinner, smiling and laughing, that in another house there's an empty chair where a hero should be sitting. They gave up their lives so you could sit with your family, so light a candle for the heroes who did not make it back and for those who are still serving out in Afghanistan. Show some respect.

it is right and proper that we should remember those that have fallen , but remember also those who have to live with the tragedy of losing a loved one , also the elderly and infirm during the festive season , it can be easy to overlook those people who are perhaps not as fortunate as us to be able to enjoy a merry christmas .
