So far, I have found the following..

Milners

Apparently un-branded 3" spring and shocks £174

or

Jimny Bits £266.20

3" Trailmaster Springs £168.60
3" ES9000 Pro Comp Shock Absorbers £97.60

or

Good news is, Blood Red are still going, he is just having a nightmare with his web site provider, and because of that, is concentrating on the Facebook page at the moment.

He can do 2" to 3" springs, plus ES9000 Pro Comp Shock Absorbers £250, or has offered to make me some +3 heavy duty ones which would be better for towing as well, for around the £260-£270 mark, but these would have a fairly long lead time, which to be honest is not too much of a problem for me anyway.

So, if it was your money, what would you do, cheap and cheerful, or....

I'd be tempted to go for the springs and shock from Jimny bits +2 pro comps .

What are people's views on the Blood Red Off Road springs as my breaker had a set of 2" springs on it and one had snapped half way up :doh

Doesn't fill me with confidence to upgrade mine

Don't go +3" or you'll goose the front end trying to balance things up. +2" uprated may be a better option as yours is LWB and you do towing ;)

I've got +3"milners ones on and they have settled at just over 2" lift. Front sits about 1"lower .I could go a bit higher on the front but it will lose all upwards travel and throw the camber out big time.

I've tried to keep my front end as low as possible. I've still got a bit of distance between bump stop and top arm and that's how it's staying

Well, certainly an honest chap, I just rang up thinking I ordered my spacers from there, turns out they dont do spring spacers... he says "Craig with the blue Terrano has loads of bits from them"?? :nenau and he has something to do with the machining of the wheel spacers too... :nenau

Who is Craig? :)

Well, I have decided to go to Jimny Bits, and go middle of the road...

Ordered "Trail Master" springs, and ES9000 shocks all round.

Now that horrible bit of waiting for them to arrive...

Look what arrived today....

Only thing is, I can't work out what this is for, there is one with each shock...

Well talk about too many answers to choose from:doh Thank goodness, I finally found out what it was for. :naughty

Today the springs arrived... all the way from Germany in 4 days, what great service.

Just need a dry driveway to fit it all now...

Shiny..

That is not a good picture, it has improved some since then :augie
Dave at blood red is a sound chap and does not sell any crap. Springs do snap from time to time even when new.
Clive I had them shocks on the back of my old lwb and found the horrendous
They made the back end bounce, with the van on they were fine but without, it was awful!! Maybe with them springs you might be different.
Old man EMU would be my choice if I ever did it again.
Are you fitting the anti roll bars you had off me?

I hope they are OK with the springs, I went for them specifically because of towing a lot, so fingers crossed. They did seem to have a lot of good reviews.

Yes, I will be fitting the rear drop links when I do it all, I had to change the rears before they arrived, for the MOT, so it has the standard ones on at the moment, which is why I did not rush to change them again.

If they had good reviews they should be fine. The springs I fitted were 20% uprated and with the new shocks it was just too bouncy!! Hope your combination works out ok. Craig
