Re-using number 1 Injector

I have a quandary, I hate hanging onto stuff that might come in handy one day, but I also hate throwing things away, if they may have a potentual use...

So, I have just changed number 1 injector, as the sensor has gone faulty, but the question is, can I still use it as a normal injector, should one of the others fail, or can it only be used as number one? Also what are the actual chances of a single injector "just" failing, e.g., if I hang onto this one, am I ever likely to actually use it?

yes you can use it as a normal injector, but as these are (pintle) type injectors the chance of failure as long as the fuel is clean, are slim, Rick

Cheers Rick... I guess I will hang onto it for a while, then re-think it when it re-rears its head in a garage tidy up...:lol
