once again forgive my ignorance , so i can put rapeseed oil straight in but it`s better with some diesel. or i can put bio diesel straight in without any adjustments to my diesel turbo terrano ? i live in the wirral (nw) i`ve been told of a place in birkenhead 85p ltr for bio. if this is the case why doesn`t evryone with a diesel use it ? once again remember i`m daft .

Bio at 85p , good find mate. Buy that and enjoy :thumb2 No mods neaded. Rapeseed will probably be fine at 75% veg 25% diesel no mods but you'll need to change your fuel filter sooner as the veggy oil picks up all the sludge hanging around.
I think a lot of people are scared of bio due to all these my mates friend said bla bla, or just can't find a good supply .
It's a no brainer for me and buy thousands of litres at a time

hi all, i`ve not been a member long got my first 4x4 a few months ago and i love it. only problem is i`ve gone from a 1.4 escort to a terrano 2.7 turbo diesel 51 reg and every time i fill up feel like i`ve mugged, i have read threads on using rapeseed oil and would like some info on using it. can i just put it in the tank with diesel in it or do i need any modification or adjustments ? this is probably an old subject but as i say i`m a newbie on here and could do with a bit of help on this subject.

Yep bung it straight in, no mods necessary. Tons of threads on the subject. In winter I wouldn't go above 50% though.

But then u have to prove ur making bio with all the crap. that goes with that but to test for bio u only need ur nose:lol the friend of a friend was my friends brother I don't need to make anything up just letting u no what happened to my mates brother..:thumb2

You need to read HMRC Notice 179E, its all in there. You don't have to prove anything, or keep receipts.

no joy with bio

hi all, i was told of a mystical man whole sold bio for 85 p ltr in wirral tried to track him down but had no joy. think he was with father christmas hearding unicorns or maybe i was just told a load of crap. so i will go to costco and see if i can buy some oil there, if anyone should know anywhere in wirral or north wales where i can buy bio from drop me a line. or if anyone knows this mystical man who claims to sell it tell him to leave father christmas and start making bio again and to stop playing with the unicorns cos i`m sure it illegal, dirty bastard lol
