Have been thinking it through today, over the years we have lost several friends/club members over the years and most recently Uncle Rustic.

So how about arranging a synchronised Glass Raising:lol

To give you a bit of notice this Saturday 12th May at 9 o’clock. Drink whatever you want just raise a glass to “absent friends” and then a second time to “Uncle Rustic”

So who’s up for this?

I'm in - alcohol for Breakfast whats not to like!

Great Idea we need something uplifting as we remember Rustic & rustgates to name but two that spring to mind..

So 21:00 on Saturday night take a photo of your tipple guys and drink to fond memories.

PS we can’t forget plank either:0)

Me and the wife are ready for 9 o’clock.

Just to let you know that Roz and Rustics family are also joining in.

No photo I'm afraid but took a quiet moment and raised a large glass too Rustic.

Read this whilst a few of us were away laning this weekend in the peaks.

We certainly remembered them and have a few pics to upload later and sure a few others have too :)

A quadruple shot of Peach Snapps !

No photo but we did raise a glass to absent friends. The wife was on Brandy & Dry Ginger Ale.

Strictly mine was not a glass but was in fact from my small Pewter Tankard.

For some inexplicable reason I have started drinking wine etc from a Pewter Goblet. I like the texture of the metal for some reason.

Bought a variety of Pewter drinking vessels of the net a couple of years ago.

Anyways cheers to absent friends who are now at peace.
