The drag link is the bar that goes across the truck joining the idler to the steering box:thumbs
Trouble is the ruddy balls on the end are captive:doh

wheel bearings are adjustable. so most likely wont need to buy new ones. the most likely parts worn on the steering are the idler. now unless you have been doing silly stuff with big wheels on i doubt it'll be bent , most likey the bush inside makeitfit will do you one of those... personally i wouldnt buy another idler from milners they are crap . just undo the bolt on the bottom of the idlet and the 3 bolts through the chassis and slide the new bush in . it'll make a hell of a difference.
next is the track rod ends change all 4 but when you do it make sure you measure them and put them back about the same then you can still drive it to get your tracking done...

tracking now thats a totally different story and you will need clear instructions for that or you or the garage will never get it right.

Ah when he said both ends the same I thought he meant each side of the car:doh

Bearings as extreme said :thumb2

okey doke, just to clarify. There is a ball joint in each end of the drag link ? that's where I can see movement that doesn't look right to me. Back & forth, and a bit of up and down when I rock the wheel. Clear as mud eh ?
I'll pm you my number makeitfit. Is that a tornado in your photo ?

thought bit of left was ok, almost design feature, unless its pulling
wheel out of your hands and have to fight to keep it straight.

quite an old topic, but not raised for a while, respect to MiF and
Extreme knowledge though, feeling in past was a little bit of wear
to inside on near side tyre part of thing too. trick was to rotate
tyres before they were to far gone.

but hey if you can sort it go for it, why accept compromise if
dont have to.

trouble is the bigger the wheels you put on the problem multiplies considerably. so no room for compromise :(

It's got standard wheels on it. Adjusted the bearings yesterday. Bloody hell they were loose !
Ruined four out of the six bolts on the drivers side and was forced to replace them with some stainless ones :augie .
Hasn't made any difference to the pulling but has made the steering feel a little bit tighter (or was that just my sphincter on the way to pick up the new bolts with just two original bolts and some gaffer tape holding the housing in place ?)
Idler bushes next.....
