prop shaft ?? which way round ?? !

1998 T2 intercooler 2.7

had to take TRANSFER prop off to replace front exhaust pipe.

marked up / took off / did exhaust / cleaned up prop and ......
............... rubbed all the marks off !!

I was VERY tired (and I'm OLD !! )

... the prop can fit front to back / or / back to front !!

... which bit points towards the FRONT of the car ... the smaller shaft diameter ... or the larger main tube ???

PS front exhaust pipe will go into place without removing gearbox yoke, but a very tight fit ( much swearing ! )
