Main reason is money to be honest, selling the winch and tyres over the next week or two.

Hold onto the trol for a month or two and see how things go.

Not saying I would buy it but please give me first refusal please.

I've just re read your thread and you've done some fantastic work and come a long way with it. Trouble is it'll be worth more to you than what you'll sell it for as an on going project so could you not just cover it up and wait it out? Obviously selling the extras is the first step cos you can replace them whenever but the truck itself....... hide it and hope. Sadly sometimes we have to make sacrifices but this is no run of the mill resto.
What ever you decide I hope it works out.

Well it's being stored now in the workshop, But would like to free up some space but in no rush to sell either.

I understand I will never get my money back from the time put into it but these things are getting rarer and rarer. They are coming up on ebay less.

Ah Fez :( Poor show man you may as well have just tore out my heart.

If Pete says he's selling up, you'll see me on the news

I say , steady on old boy
I'll be continuing on the Black Pearl very soon. We just got shafted on a lock up workshop we were going to rent. been waiting for the guy to fit the ruddy roll up doors for months now . Luckily in a way, we were chasing him last week and noticed the back wall of the unit was soaking wet from all the rain
Off to see a barn rental now instead

NO you cant sell her. Im telling you now you will regret doing so. Been there too many times myself with projects.

Fez I was talking to a guy at JCS when I went to get my rims for my 33'' tyres. He turned up in a 2.8TD Y60 Trayback of which he had fabricated his own roll cage for.

I told him about you're predicament with the bender not being able to do 180 degree bends and he said to not worry about it and to just do 90 degree ones and TIG weld it :nenau

I hope that makes sense to you, who wants to see pics BTW???

That wasn't really the problem, It was my bender I have won't bend CDS very well (pretty much useless) which caused me to stop. After looking at things I realised I don't think I could afford to continue with it and run it when its done and didn't want to spend loads of time on something I won't get to use and enjoy.

Sensible matey although gutting at the same time :(

What kind of state is it in now? We've not seen some pics for a while :nenau

pretty much as last pictures, haven't touched it in about a year (how time flies).

I had the rear cage hoop mounts welded up and tacked to the chassis ready to start making the cage.

Makes me sad going in the workshop and see it sitting there though.
