Good luck,But as you know you have to keep the little lady happy.Cos if not then you may not be happy.

Fingers crossed for you - at least you have several months to get to know the locals before the white stuff kicks in.
Re the shed, a couple of years ago I bought a plastic (no maintenance) 6' x 4' shed from B&Q, complete with floor, it bolted together with big plastic bolts (and it has a window!) I seem to recall at the time it was around £89. I had it delivered, it came as a series of large panels and has never let in any rain. If you could get someone to assemble it for you, something like this might solve your "Radio Shack" problem.
Any road up, good luck with the bungalow, hope all goes according to plan.

ffs .... now the walls have been steam stripped , its shown the plaster is in a terrible state , walls are bowed inwards as though its falling off , some walls have firkin big holes where the wallpaper was holding it on  , one wall in the bedroom creaks when you touch it .

ive mentioned this to the council , because obviously we cant decorate / wallpaper with it in this state ...... they said the next appointment for a plasterer is the 5th of august  , which will be for a " assessment " , so even if they plaster on that day , it will be about a month before we can wallpaper :(..... but yet they are still charging us full rent for a bungalow we cant live in for at least 2 months .

some of the decorating quotes to decorate the lounge and bedroom have been quite frankly piss taking .......£766 plus materials .... , we found one guy who quoted £85 per day plus materials , he estimated 4 or 5 days .... but he cant do it till mid September
