Looking forward to seeing a well photo'd download Alex. Would you also need some kind of sealer / tape for the joints, and a list of tools including a pot of waxoyl to cover the edges of the cut metal.

Hole cutter of some sort, paint to seal the bare metal once you have cut the holes. :thumb2

Paint and sealant I have, I will pay a visit to rick, he's the master here, don't leave me in charge of something like this :lol

Do you need that much flexi ducting ? I'd suggest you'd be better off with a silicone coupling between snorkel kit end and the air box.
That flexi stuff is very thin and susceptible to damage

Problem here is the Navara snorkel kit does not say what it contains, or have I missed something? Rick

In the kit I got you got the snorkel, fixings, rubber hose and a plastic bit that mates up to the air box on a navara.
All I used was the snorkel and rubber hose, the rest is useless as it doesent fit the terrano.
3 "tube I got from work, 1 metre of heavy duty flexi hose and clips I got off of eBay.

So you suggest I get silicone coupling instead of the thin flexi?

Is there a link for this please? :thumb2

Also check the third one down, only problem is its hong kong.

Auto silicone hoses should have everything you need.
It has always been my intension to swap the flexi for something a bit more substantial.:thumb2

Not having much luck on their site. Either too small or only straight, also hugely expensive... It'll be the cost of the snork again...

Surely flexi will do, it's not gonna get hit by anything?

Just buy the snorkel then half install it. You then will know what extra fittings you need

I think £79.99 Alex but don't hold me to that

That's what I paid for mine from direct 4x4 in derby plus 15 quid for the flexi pipe and extra hose clips.
3"tube I got from work for nothing:thumb2

Got my flexible from eBay.then they decided they hadn't got it in stock.so they sent me an upgraded at no extra cost.

They're trying to rape me for 105 quid... Am I looking at the wrong one?
