Your might have been built in 99 as a MK2 but a dealer didn't order it till 2000 so Nissan gave it the MK3 front end face lift:augie Rover used to do this a lot & so did Ford on some models. From what I saw when looking at over 40 T2 before I bought this one was the plastic tank guards seemed to be only fitted to the trucks with the later rear axles One things for sure your new tank guard will be much stronger than the metal one Nissan fitted:thumb2 as the one on my old SWB bent after making contact with a rock & I also had a lovely dent in my tank luckily it never leaked
