Toying with the idea of spraying the plastic part matt black just to tone it down a bit.

Today I have mostly been making a steel tank guard to replace the plastic poo that is fitted.
Undecided on what colour to powder coat it in.
Mrs says yellow, daughter says blue
 
Can't believe they put plastic ones on :doh When I tookmy steel one off the other day I found many stones :eek:
What do you use for those holes ?

I've used a 30mm hss hole saw for the drain holes.

I remember drilling a bash plate and took ages. So I went to borrow the blacksmith's drill . That was a beast ;)

Could have got them laser cut into the plate but as it was an after thought once it had been folded I used the pillar drill.
I will have to talk to the guy at work about a price Alex.for me it's a favour for a favour but if he knows I'm selling them on then obviously he will want a cut.
 
Looking pro there mate ;) I had my bumpers back from powder last week. Trying to find time to fit them now .
Argh countdown is proceeding way too quickly :eek:
 
That looks fantastic:thumbs shocked yours had a plastic guard on tho, I know the very last ones do (i've got one:doh) but my mates old T2 had a steel one & it was a 2001:confused:
