we are planning a day out in the beautiful peak district on the bank holiday weekend.
it will be on the sunday the 4th of may.
this will be a fun day out just for pleasure with some nice scenery and some good stops for chats,coffee and just a general pleasure drive.
the route will be adapted to suit peoples truck spec.

standard trucks are welcome but AT tyres are recommended.

elty001 will post a better description tomorrow.
first come first serve as places are limited.

you will be in safe experienced hands and familys and children are welcome and encouraged.

Place cromford wharf carpark.

Bring food and drink to last you through the day.
stop for lunch at eyam,toilets and a small shop(if open)




From Matlock – Head south as for Derby / Cromford along the A6 going through Matlock Bath, continue on A6 passing Masson Mill on left hand side, 300metres past the mill are traffic lights – go left at these signposted Cromford Wharf. Go past a carpark on right takeing next right turn signposted Cromford Wharf – you are now in a large carpark with toilets at far end.

From Derby – Head north along the A6 towards Matlock. Passing Belper and Whatstandwell. Continue along A6 to Cromford – traffic lights turning right signposted Cromford Wharf. Go past a carpark on right taking next right turn signposted Cromford Wharf – you are now in a large carpark with toilets at far end.

oh well another time.

highly recommend the trip, done most of derbyshire lanes, you'll be in good hands.
 
I take it your day didn't go as planned then jim.
I have to say this was the best day out in the peaks so far.
Did the planned route but we where still hungry for more so made our way over to hollinsclough for the final lanes of the day.
Was well worth the drive.:thumbs

Do you think a standard hight truck would have managed?
