Gonna have to have words with lee as he has turned my lad to the darkside:lol:lol
Says when he is older he is getting a landrover:nenau:lol

Bloody hell. Lovely photos. And you said standard trucks welcome!!
Do you think a standard hight truck would have managed?
Without wrecking it? :-o

Wouldn't have took a standard truck down there.
These where the bonus lanes we did after the route was finished.

I have had 3, series LR's in my time and my lad still loves them, some of his mates got them because of time spent in ours.
There is no getting away from the fact, they are an iconic vehicle.
Still love my Terry though

Ah. Ok. Would love to have come but would have driven round the bonus lanes on b roads B-)
Maybe next time. ;-)

Started my green laning days with my mate when I was 19 in his series II.
Totally standard and drove everything you put in front of it.
My first truck was a 1985 sj 410 again standard and went anywhere even up stanage edge back in the days when you could drive it either way.

Like this pic mate:thumbs
Can see how steep and rough this descent is:cool:

next time we do this I will walk down behind you for some better pics:thumb2

You mean walk up in front:thumbs

Only joking I would never make anyone drive a lane they are not comfortable doing.you could ride shotgun with me first then see how you feel.

this is more like the lanes the standard trucks would have been guided through.
its only a short clip but you get the picture.
there is some lovelly scenery in the peak..

Totally fine with that. :)
Do you think a 2" sus lift and all terain tyres would be enough for the bonus lane you did. I'm not afraid of wrecking my trucks good looks but I'd need to drive home in it

it was after doing hollinsclough i upgraded to 33's :sly

have done it in my old truck and I caught the rear bumper on the big step.
someone has put a slab of rock there now so not as bad a drop but still a good one.
33's are on my to do list but not desperate as I have loads of tread on the 31's.
need to upgrade steering before I get the new boots on.
