Well that's another lane gone in the peaks:(
Just had an email from the council as I had opposed the closure.
Leys lane near great longstone has got a permanent TRO as from the 15th of January 2015.
Brushfield lane/ bull tor lane is next on the list.
Need more peeps to get pro active with keeping them open.

Had a notice of order regarding the downgrading of Brushfield lane(monsal head)
We need as much support as we can get to keep this lane open so if anyone has driven the lane we need to make an appearance at the enquiry in September.
The hearing is scheduled to be held at ash ford war memorial institute, church street, ashford in the water,derbyshire.de45 1qa.
On Tuesday 15th September 2015 at 10.00 am.
Anyone wishing to give evidence of use in a motor vehicle needs to attend the first day of the 3 day hearing.

I really want to get involved with this mate, what exactly do you need from me? I don't mind taking a day if work to save a few lanes!!!!

If you have never driven this lane then there is not much you can do this time as they are asking for user evidence.
There are plenty of others that are under scrutiny and not just in my area.
Quite a few of the lanes we will be doing in may are scheduled to be investigated.
If you click on the link in the first page this gives a list of lanes that are under the microscope in the peaks.
Every council should have something similar.
A forum to join is the like minded laners as they do a hell of alot of work alongside trf to keep the green roads all over the country open for everyone.

cheers guys:thumb2
every little helps:lol
Banshee I want to have a chat with you about the club becoming GLASS affiliated again,we used to be but only a select few got involved and it seemed to die off as quick as it was set up.
there seems to be a good group of us on here now that enjoy our greenlining so might be worth looking into.
