To convert to a single mass flywheel it had to be made from scratch on the lathe, gear cut and heat treated.
No machining of spigot's or alterations to gearbox's required.

That's some thread update
I'm sure I've seen more complicated engine swaps done in a hour on the discovery channel:lol
Seriously though, that's mustard. Very well done on taking it on and solving problems. You're past the point of no return and am very much looking forward to seeing it in action :clap:bow

The security guards matched the inside colour nicely but I wanted them black on outside so I painted one half which was a bit of a pain but not too bad

Where did you get the guards from?

Right place, right time I'm afraid.

A guy on her had them on his truck and sold the truck. I then happened to see a patriot roof rack for sale on ebay that I won, went to pick it up and it was the off the same truck that was on here, the guy also threw in the window guards for me :thumb2

Marks4wd 63% reduction gears. Had to wait about 4 months while they made them.
Going to need these for the tyre upgrade

Am I right in thinking that you're going for 37's?

I'm only brave enough for 35's! (That's next years upgrade from my 33's!)

While you were on Mark's 4wd did you order some Portal Axels? :naughty (I've wanted some of those for a VERY long time!)

37's : No

Portal axles : I wish :lol that would be epic

mmm I want a unimog!

The suspension has landed :D

Rear lower 'Long Arm Kit'.
Good impression of length going by size of pallet. These arms have to get mounts welded onto chassis as no-where near a standard fitment.
Look at the length of these arms
