Nice one, the numbers just didnt make sense :thumb2

After doing a good amount of research I bought the pedders kit :clap

I would love to have bought the 4 inch lift kit but just too expensive, not just buying the kit but the expense of getting it fitted with all the extra allingment parts so came to a good compromise and got the 2 inch lift with long travel shocks, 2.5 deg camber bushes, longer brake hoses, spring spacers, and steering damper. This should give a lift of just under 3 inch so after measuring my ride height at present should be well over 3 as it sits now.

Cant wait to get it fitted to see the difference :)

Nice one bud :thumb2

Yeh with the 2" springs and spacers you'll definitely need castor bushes (can usually do without on just a 2" lift).

I do fancy one of their foam cell steering dampers. What size spring spacers did you go?

Cheers mate. I got 20mm for the rear and seperate 10 and 20mm for the front because I got the heavy duty springs for front for when I find a winch bar so I can leave it at the front with nothing, 10, or 20 depending how it sits to get it level. With the winch bar I'll have the 20 on the front too.

2 inch or 4 inch the 4 inch really does give the car a presence like no other.

Kind regards

Russell.

I'd rather go extra with a body lift. Far better CofG and combine that with your long travel shocks , job's a good'n :D
Oh yeh, body lift is uber cheap
Works for me :naughty

Thats a good point, with that kit a 2 inch body lift would need no other mods I suppose, maybe axel breathers lengthening. I have absolutely no idea about body lifts with a y61though, don't seem popular for some reason no idea why, is there a hidden hurdle?

Not that I'm aware of :nenau Did mine for buttons and that's probably why the suspension peeps don't mention it :lol
Far more stable platform with a 2" + 2" lift than a 4" susp lift alone. I'm running 35s but could easily go 37 and no steering issues etc :sly

Are you running the 2.8 6 cyl same as me or have you got the 4.2. Im not sure if the 2.8 would be struggling with 35's or not. But im glad you popped the body lift into my head as thats something for another day now :naughty

Got +45mm on the springs and used a few cutting discs on the arches:thumb2
37"s fit nice but do limit acceleration to "Awesome":lol
Articulation is the issue, I can see where the tyres have been just catching the tops of the inner arches so the +2" body lift would make that issue less of a problem, and like Make it fit said Cheap as chips, a few spacers and some longer bolts - job done.
Well my next job to do:thumb2

I look forward to seeing it. You must be running the 4.2 as well to run 37's lol

Depending on how serious you are they usually do group buy on different gearing for your transfer box on the oz patrol forum so you can run 35s.

It would be interesting to hear from anyone with a 2.8 thats run with 35's to hear their opinions, i guess it would be right on the limit for standard engine. Get a remap on the engine it might be ok but don't know about low box going downhill would be geared as thats quite important.

Do OZ group buys post to the uk? I suppose yes for the right price lol
