Bloody hell Jay! Glad you both got out OK, a bit of metal can be straightened out and polished, something Rick is, obvioulsy, blissfully unaware of!

:lol

It will more than likely still be there at the show so you can all admire it! :D

It's gut wrenching when it happens but as already said, as long as you were both unharmed. :thumb2
It'll be back to it's former glory soon I reckon:D

Looking for an upgrade for Nissan Patrol mirrors, I kept coming up with towing mirrors from a company called ClearView.

Awesome as they were, and looked a lot like those mirrors from an F250, there were $700 plus postage from Aus... No one would post to the UK. :doh

Another company copied those mirrors and called them BettaView. These were half the price but still couldn't get them to the UK.

Both of these were a bolt on option for the Patrol and would of been nice. :doh

I decided to take matters into my own hands...

I got hold of some Ford Transit Connect mirrors. (Electric & Heated) With a bit (a lot) of tweaking, hole cutting and plastic shaving I was able to make them fit onto the Patrol mirror mounts! :naughty

I am pleased with the result... Got the passenger side still to do, so will more than likely make a video of the steps I took! :thumbs

That's a good job Jay. Just mind you don't take em out on a gate post:hide:
