I’ve got mine booked in for an MOT On Wednesday, whilst it’s there I’m having the underside blown over with a needle jet to remove all the surface rust and then a rust inhibitor of some sort sprayed on then under sealed. That should keep the rot away for a while.

Thanks Mate! :thumbs

I really need to get the underside of mine taken care of!

Really well done mate. The videos are getting better all the time

I like the fact you went through all stages step by step, showing all tools used.

That's a great format for people getting started.

Can't wait for the next one :clap

Cheers. I think I'm finding my way! :thumbs

Finally got round to removing the silver ones and those awful Locking Nuts! :clap

Just done a couple of odd jobs on the Old Girl... Subtle, but can make the difference! :augie

The rusted wheel centres at the rear were always on show with the Black steel wheels, so I got those painted up.

Oh, and also one of my pipes heading towards the provent was a larger diameter than the original, so I shaved a little off the intercooler cover.

Got this bad boy to protect me from the Great British weather!

It's 2m wide with a 2.5m extension. (Away from the vehicle)

Cost me £179 inc P&P. (The equivalent ARB version was £100 more plus postage!)

Very smart! I'm just going to bungee an army bivvi to the roof rack. I havent noticed the rusty hubs, mainly because they are covered in mud!!

I'll have to do some measuring, but I am thinking about using a pair of these in the back for storage.

I love small jobs that make a big difference. I like the satisfaction vs effort equation!

I know how tough they are, and that they work. Quite a lot of my trucks kit will be ex MOD stuff. Its usually simple to use, and 'ard as nails.

I can vouch for those boxes Brian... Not that I own some, but have used em!

I had my Bivvi bungee'd to the roof rack last weekend...

That's what pushed me to buying the awening. (It has been on my list for a while!)
