I've had lots of help on faceache though for the Vito.

My brother-in-law is banned from the BBC forum, he told them that they weren't interested in his views because he was a minority group.

When they asked him which group, he told them he was white, straight, married, and self-employed.

So they banned him.

:lol

PC gone mad that's the Beeb

That nicely sums up the BBC even if it's not true !!

I like the current goings on about how to address Trangenders.
It's hard enough to figure out which is the Gents & Ladies as it is with the sexist signs.
Not sure showing a woman as wearing a skirt and a bloke as wearing trousers is fair to the Scots and women who wear trouser suits.
Can't imagine what a Transgender Toilet sign would look like.
Boaty Mc Boatface would have some serious competion.

Dragqueen Mc Dragqueenface ?

Sadly it is true, Patrick asked the question as to why the only opinions were from non-whites, g-l-b-t, unemployed, single and/or left wing union types and he felt that regular people were unrepresented. He got no response so then asked if it was because he was a "minority" group and so followed the previous post.

Then followed the ban.

I do like this forum and check in most days but do find it a bit boring at times:nenau

I hear you on that!!!! I hope the good weather and light nights returning is enough to inspire more to get the spanners out and do something interesting.

There's not been much movement in the Project Threads which are my favorite reads, I'ts only Jay666d with his work hat on at the minute and me when I'm on the vase :splif:

It's only boring ' cos Banshee finally managed to get his spare steering wheel apart.

:lol

That wasn't funny!!!!!!!

That wasn't funny!!!!!!!

Have to break it to you...

...it was!

But I can understand why you didn't think it was funny.

Much like the time I was putting down some carpet tiles for a client with contact adhesive and I inadvertently sat on some of the adhesive. The client thought it was hilarious watching me trying to wriggle out of a pair of overalls whilst glued to the floor.

:doh

I guess we all look to reinforce our own characteristics it's known as the "The Halo Effect" ?

P.S. I never find this Forum boring it just sits on a Sine Wave so it depends where on the time continuum you are observing it from.

For me its the Crest of a Wave......aaaaaaah

lol.

Ah , love a bit of Hitch Hikers Guide :D

I'll have a whole load more Black Pearl action soon. Been busy on other jobs . The wife has quit teaching at last so I'm converting "unfinished projects" into cash :naughty

I too have been busy these last few weeks. I do have a list of jobs that need doing on my truck, first being the 2"body lift, and a list of jobs I want to do on my truck, better lighting in the boot area, a couple more usb sockets etc etc.
I've also discovered the carpet soaked under the mid row of seats:nenau
See how my list grows:doh

Yeah they are a common place for leaks.
I had a split in the bottom of the seal which leaked into the boot and down into the rear foot well.
I pushed a length of hose pipe into the tubular part of the seal to bulk it back out and has been good ever since.

Also check the rubber seal that runs across the top of the aperture. I've had to seal it down with sealant as water was running underneath it.

Good call jim:thumb2
Mine are sealed all the way round as well :thumb2

Mine is bodged at the mo, I have another pair of good seals to fit that I got off Rick AGES ago but just bin busy.

Thanks guys. Have seen mentioned a few times that it's probably the door seal. I'm going to strip the inside out first and get the carpet clean before resealing the rubbers :thumbs
