Nice:thumb2 take it you'll be polishing your new hubs every week now Steve:lol
See now I'm looking at removing my fixed for a set of autos so I can save a bit of fuel, scrap manuals off, can't be arsed getting in and out in and out :/
Plus for the price of those you could habe brought 2, 2nd hand sets of Autos, serviced both, fitted 1 set and kept another spare in the car :thumbs2Or me.

you'd have to be seriously unlucky to break 2 sets!!!!
Peeps like me and banshee:splif have enough think about without switching me wheels off for tarmac:naughty

don't need to unlock them for tarmac as long as 4wd isn't engaged
That is spot on Alex, for manual hubs. We don't have the option on our motors unless we fit some. If we had manual hubs and had them locked on, we'd be exactly where we are now.

Cool I see. It's quite a good idea, I guess it stops failure occurring or atleast making it less likely. The only bad thing would be knowing me, I'd forget to engage it an drive into a swamp :augie
What happens of you have the hubs off and engage 4wd?
Nasty noises or grinding? Or just lack of 4wd?
yes alex, but if you leave them locked on your mpg will go down, will only be locked when out laning as the extra usage between lanes will be negligible so won't make a big impact anyway
