I have the same manual hubs as those, and from the same outfit.:thumb2

Manual hubs are more versatile than fixed or auto hubs, they're good for engaging 4 low for reversing the caravan/trailer, lot less clutch slipping.:clap

That's why I was thinking of fitting manual hubs. Being an auto there's even less control when you only have to move a couple of inches and not put the hitch through the bumper!

just lock at the start of a laning day/pay and play and unlock them at the end of the day:thumb2simples:lol:lol

Exactly why I converted my Trol hubs to manual (about the easiest mod I've done :lol). Knowing I can engage 2WD Low is very handy.

Exactly what I did down in Wales this year - hubs locked on the Friday night and didn't unlock them until we finished the last lane on Sunday :thumb2 (shortly after we passed the Honda CRV (or whatever it was) going the opposite way up the lane ...

Best thing I did was fit manuals on my older truck, they suit me no problems at all since changing. As siad you got 2wd low box. I just use my loaf and lock them when I think Im going to need 4wd.
They do lose their shine within weeks tho:doh

Also who said Id get my feet muddy, thats why you have a passenger seat isnt it:lol:lol

:lol:lol didn't take them long to turn round and come back.think they got as far as the ford and thought better of it.
